One dead in shooting at CT International Airport

Police confirm that there is one dead and at least three people injured following a shooting inside a restaurant at the Cape Town International Airport.
 
Initial reports say that a man shot at three people before turning the gun on himself. 
 
Deidre Davids, communications manager for Cape Town International Airport said that the incident occurred on the mezzanine level above the airline check-in counters shortly after 18:00 on Wednesday evening. 
 
Police and airport security are on the scene and the immediate area around the airport terminal has been closed.
 
Airport operations and flights are continuing as normal.
