Foreign-owned shops close in Joburg CBD amid fears of attacks

JOHANNESBURG - A number of shops have closed their doors in the Johannesburg CBD after allegedly receiving threats from a mob.
The group  threatened to attack any shops that remained open.
eNCA reporter Nickolaus Bauer was in the CBD this morning and witnessed a number of shops along Lilian Ngoyi Street (formerly Bree) closing their doors.
Shop owners told him they feared for their safety.
